There is a part of me

There is a part of me that constantly shivers
When Your name is being mentioned
At any places

There is a part of me that when I say Your name
Droplets of water run down my cheeks
Because You gave life to me to come back to You
I was made to remember You
I was made to love You

There is a part of me that haunts my past
It reminds me how much of a baghl I was

There is a part of me that when I become selfish
I demand and ask so much from You
And I could not care less

There is a part of me that when I succeed
I chase the world
I forget You
There is a part of me that when I am in need
I chase Your mercy
I remember You

But when You answer me
I shiver and weep
You hear the voice in my heartbeat

I tremble and cry
In shame and humiliation
Who am I kidding?
You are the Lord of all creations

The clay of me is but insignificance
The clay of me is but stubbornness
And I have no right to behave as such

There is a part of me that wanders around
The soul it is called
Yearns nothing but to be sound

The soul of me is facing lawwamah
Is full of karahah and mahabbah

There is a part of me that beats very fast
Lost at times
Trying to get to the path

There is a part of me that turns outside in
Inside out
Reverse
Invert
This part of me is never stable
The only part that all I’ve got
This part of me is called the heart.
