A Sufi's Shariah

I veiled my head in hope of unveiling my Ruh
What began as an outward quest
Uncurled to be an inward journey to what was true
Unsheathing my Sufi sword I wage the war
Each battle's honour - the hope of a glimpse of you
I began this journey as "I" began this poem
Only to realise there is no me nor I
The only reality is Nur
