A Web of Weakness!

Submitted by : muslim89 on Allah's Creations

As smooth as silk,
White like milk,
For preys to catch
And to build egg sacs.
Can be sticky,
Dry & stretchy,
Allah states their houses are flimsy!
No protection for the eight- legged creatures
Even though the web is one of amazing features!
Their houses are like that of idol worshippers,
Cannot protect them nor ever be their helpers!
Day & night spiders spin & climb
In the end it’ll break what a waste of time!
Same to the idolaters who take God’s other than Allah
Wasting their time, forgetting the hereafter!
So waste your time thinking you’d be fine
Like spiders home-
Shaytan has you trapped & intertwined!
Surely the spider’s home is the weakest-
If only you knew, your idol God’s you’d detest!

Note:

Main inspiration to write the poem came from the following Quranic verse:

“The parable of those who take protectors other than Allaah is that of the spider, who builds (to itself) a house; but truly the flimsiest of houses is the spider’s house; if they but knew.” (Surah Al ‘Ankaboot {The Spider] 29:41)

From the book 'The Quran and Modern Science' by Dr Zakir Naik:

Besides giving the physical description of the spider's web as being flimsy, delicate and weak, the Quran also stresses on the flimsiness of the relationship in the spider's house, where the female spider many a times kills it's mate, the male spider.
