Yet again I slip
Yet again another blip
It was going fairly well
Now who can I tell
That I again dipped into a sin
Which makes me feel regret within

I must sincerely repent to Him

Yes He already knows
But sincere confession shows
That I acknowledge the fact
Of the effort I lacked
To follow the commands
Which the soul understands
Lead to salvation

And I do not give up hope
Because I believe in His Mercy

Please God help me make the effort
To not abandon right for even a second
Anyone who continually holds onto you
Is the successful one
