The beauty of Islam
exuding the sweet fragrance of imaan
through it our hearts find tranquility
this is the haq, the truth, reality
hold on to the rope of Allah, do not deviate
do not doubt or hesitate
for a long journey lies ahead
we cannot percieve how it will end
ahead lies path of thorns
though softened by a few petal of rose that adorn
it, tread we must and face our destiny
each step we take must be in scrutiny
resisting temptations that lie in wait
unknown fears and many cares
eyes flowing with bitter tears
sometimes our hopes and dreams are shattered
but we must not grieve, it doesn't really matter
our reward with Allah will compensate
all our life's heartaches, more then we can anticipate
we must be of those that are sabireen
patient, putting our trust in Allah, he is Raheem
InshaAllah our imaan will get us through
life's journey rough or smooth
and at our journey's end we will finally meet
united as one ummah and with salaam we will greet
