By Means Foul or Fair?

Hanging in mid air
Neither here nor there
If I could change my situation
Would it be by means foul or fair?
Who cares?
As long as I get what I want
No one has to know
But even if they do - so what?
I'll be praised for my cleverness
For beating the system
Take a short cut to the top
There is no one to stop
But
The rat race will continue until when?
Until Qiyamat Day, of course
Will you be prepared to answer then?
With that one sobering cold thought it hardly seems worth it anymore.
