When God made apes and swine
He asked not the angels to incline
Only when He created a human
did He relegate rest of creation

Human brain with trillions of neurons
is a pinnacle of exquisite complexity
matching in marvelous intricacy
the splendor of the entire universe

Attracting the envy of the evil ingrate
who inspires to corrupt it with booze
and drugs and thoughts and such
to become a being He is bound to loathe

Guard your sanity with word and deed
overcome obstacles with patience and hope
Let not temporary respite
jeopardize your lasting retreat
