First you don’t know
where you come from
and if there is a from
to come from

The first part of life, you don’t think
and when you do, life’s a bitch
It’s not so before you know it
and no better after you know it

The only thing that moves it along
is time
Not much can be done here
it’s not in our control

The last part of life sucks
there’s health ups and downs
and good friends leaving for good
It’s anybody’s guess where they go, if they go.
