Don’t be their TOY!

A smile was all that it needs
Yes, It is just a simple deed
From a radiant face*
Such was a sincere grace

This is the act that we often forget
The matter we neglect
In Islam it reflects
A pure heart oh so perfect **

This is how Islam was won
Many a time it was sworn
A perfect example was born* **
A pure character among the thorns

Smile he always did
To a foe that’s a feat
And to a friend – it’s a treat
This is a blessing indeed

Allah swt has chosen him
To be the example of the highest esteem
Now let’s us be in his team
Following his footsteps in full steam

Lets us be united and one
This is what Rasulullah (saw) wants
To the tunes of our enemy we don’t dance
Let’s us wake up from this trance

Year in year out, what does this create?
– Only resentment and headache
All it does is deviate
And we took the bait

Oh poor Muslims who do you want to blame?
Your anger, your suffering need only a small flame
We over react – an excuse so lame
An act not so tame – yes we felt for their game

Now this time around lets us follow the sunnah completely
In every actions and words so perfectly
To our enemy we react calmly
Make them feel uneasy peacefully

We always fall prey to their ploys
This I don’t see the joy
Let me be coy –
Oh Muslims wake up and don’t be their (our enemy’s) TOY
