let me teach you all, a simple dua
when leaving the bathroom, say Ghuffranaka(1)

when entering the bathroom, don't think twice
say Allahumaaini auzubika minal khubsi wal khabaais(2)

before eating and drinking say bismillah(3)
and end it with praise, al hamdullilah(4)

when sneezing, again say al hamdullilah
and on hearing this, yar hamoo kallah(5)

on remembering a bad deed, be it near or far
sincerely repent, say Asthagfirullah(6)

just before you sleep, don't count a star
say Allahuma bismika amootu wa ahya(7)

three words light to the mouth, heavy in reward
subhan Allah(8), Al hamdullila, Allah ho akbar(9)
remember your Lord!


1 - i seek forgiveness from Allah (on exiting the bathroom with your right foot)
2- Oh Allah I seek refuge with you from the male and female jinns
(on entering the bathroom with your left foot)
3 - in the name of Allah
4 - praise be to Allah
5 - may Allah's mercy be upon you
6 - I seek forgiveness from Allah
7 - Oh Allah, in your name we die and we live
8 - Glory to Allah
9- Allah is great
