Enough of Enough

I’ve eyed the hole up close
and it was deep enough.
I’ve measured the box from inside out
and it was big enough.
I’ve estimated the time remaining
and it was short enough.
I’ll sigh and I’ll smile and I’ll shrug
all the way to my spot in eternity.
