Every single night
I wonder if you might
Come and see me
Before I drown inn fright
Looking at the stars
And all the passing cars
Will you take me away?
From this place of scars?
Do you still look my way?
Until the end of the day
I’ll be waiting by the roses
Blooming in May
And when the sun goes down
I’ll be waiting in my gown
And we’ll runaway
To an innocent town
