Four Proverbs

A whispered word can be
Carried through the air
As a leaf is carried by the winds

Angry men calm their voices
To hear a faint passing word
Their anger cools as they strain to listen

Soft words caress the troubled mind
Tempest thoughts are smoothed so that
A confessed heart can find a direction

A wise man never shouts
His wisdom to the crowd
Rather, he speaks softly his words
To those who want enlightenment
