Gold for brass
Or
Brass for gold
Does not matter much for both glitter
I’m told
But wait
One is valuable and the other not
But which is which
Only the Goldsmith knows
Hold on
You can’t take it with you to the grave
Unless
It be … a heart
So, my friends, be very wise
You have a chance
to determine
By intention and action
Which it will be
Gold or brass
Brass or gold
Even though both glitter
The Goldsmith knows.
