Hole in My Heart

There’s a hole in my heart
That nothing seems to fill
I’ve seen so many doctors to get a magic pill
But
Nothing seems work
Owning land and property
A mount of things
A momentary pleasure
Soon the feeling sinks
I’ve taken a spouse
Bourn offspring
Although my hearts swells up
With love for them
But nothing reaches that empty core
That vaccum
At the center of my being
Bowing down in prayer
Brings temporary relief
Oh so brief
What is the yearning
This restless need
A wanderer searching
For something yet Unseen
Not to be found in this life it seems
