Recent events unfold
As the world is getting old
Many things have been told
While searching for the precious gold

Only to you I fold
My life is getting old
Actions need to be bold
Repentance should not be on hold

Allah you gave me so much *
Alas as human I mistreat you such
Sins keep rolling
Oh Allah I am falling

As I have been told
My soul is not to be sold
It has to be returned a state of pure gold**
To the rightful owner tenfold

In this time of need
Who do I seek?
In desperate time
Only you Allah who shine!

Let me surrender to you in total***
Before my end that is fatal
My resting place need not be a tavern
Just enough a place as your sincere servant

Please keep peace between two parties
Let us not be hasty
As life is short not a party
Let’s make it a beauty

Oh Allah! I forget when is the last time I say “I love you”
To family, friend and YOU too
In this short life of mine
Please make me remember you all the time

Oh Allah “I love you”
I want it to be true!
Help me to get through
And to attain your love too

Oh Allah! I am getting old
As events unfold
I am afraid of what my destiny holds
To Jannah I pray is the goal
