Islam saves life and mankind*
Peace – as pointed by all the signs
This is the teaching – But why it is missing?
And we are still searching!!!

All play a part
Let me just start
When Islam is portrayed as violence
Most of us just kept silence

This is deafening – this is the happening
The silence majority sitting
While The Media keeps drumming
- And the Innocents are dying

When something went wrong –
The message sent so strong
Blame Islam and Muslim
Even when the evidence is slim**

Each act even before the authority could react
Finger pointing Muslim is the easiest fact
Each occurrence – Muslim is the first
To be blamed, shamed and cursed!

But wait why Islam and Muslim are being blamed?
Thus creating a bigger flame! This is a shame!
Ah! This is their game – as we always claim
But even if this is true – why do we fall for it again and again!

We have become a community so lame
Even our reactions and voices are tamed
But we demonstrate, strike and put Islam to shame
We play right – smack into their game!

Then what should we do?
You ask me? I asked you!
Again let reflect and return to the two***
This is the way our enemy we woo

Islam is peace ****
Let make this world at ease
When the enemy starts to tease
Just don’t overact please!

We are a nation of the middle path*****
This is our main task
To show to all the message from dawn to dusk
Even if they don’t ask – Peace for all – that’s the greeting from us

** Al-Quran 49:6 “O you who believe! If a Fasiq (liar — evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done.

*** During the last sermon of Rasulullah (saw) mentioned: “O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur'an and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.”

**** Islam is derived from the Arabic root "Salema": peace, purity, submission and obedience

***** Al-Quran 2:143 “Thus have We made of you an Ummah justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; …”
