Irrelevant Irreverence

Irreverence for icons of belief
may for jesters, be comic relief.
A source of delight and merriment
but for true believers, it’s irrelevant.

Some may scoff as whoppers
a few stories in the scriptures
These are still not as funny
as the famed big bang theory.
