Isn’t it time?

“How time flies!” There goes the cry.
Yet another year whizzed bye
- as The Clock can’t be turn back even if you try
It’s time to obey or to defy?

The Age getting larger – the numbers are bigger
Life getting lesser as Death creeps closer
Isn’t it time – to get our act together?
A time to meet our maker!

Lucky to those who are made to realize
Repent is where the answer lies
Blessed is the one who is prepared, as all his sins he repaired!
His life beyond compared, to meet Allah as he is spared

But there are some who refused to believe
There is life after this world – a temporary relief
What is this life but very brief!
Hereafter – it will bring them grief

Our lives are getting older, but are we much wiser?
Living in borrowed time, wishing life can be better!
To focus on the hereafter – getting to Allah swt closer and closer
As death is getting nearer and nearer

Fudhail bin Iyadh was a fortunate soul
He met his goals
A verse changed him in total *
His heart was pure gold.

Just a mere second to change
It sounds so strange
But to Allah swt all is possible
Nothing is beyond repairable

As age is catching up!
The body is weakened but not giving up
Oh Allah swt we pray to Thee, for us to buck up
Our lives remaining – please wake us UP!

Isn’t it time to repent?
How much monies, times and strength had been spent?
We wish to delete the wrongdoings
OH! Allah this is our asking!

Let’s us reflect our time on earth – is it just mere numbers?
Each year passed, as one by one, Allah swt has taken our friends and family members
Still we are swept away enjoying our remaining lives!
Isn’t it time to jannah we strive?
