Jihad.

I’m striving to find a better way,
This is my Jihad.
I’m surviving but regret remains,
This is my Jihad.
I’ve suffered loss and lavished gain,
This is my Jihad.
I’ve had the pleasure and felt the pain,
This is my Jihad.
Hungry, thirsty, need some rain,
This is my Jihad.
Restless, struggling to keep it sane,
This is my Jihad.
Fitnas deep, heart feels the strain,
This is my Jihad.
Mountains steep, it’s time to train,
This is my Jihad.
Memories of childhood just fade away,
This is my Jihad.
Falsehood complex, but the truth is plain,
This, is my Jihad.
