and so I start on this new path
a lonely one
It was hard not to have a mate
for this last mile
someone who would comfort me
in time of need
and someone who I could do the same

But
haven't we all come alone here?
Even when they are chance companions
they don't really matter
Many of us start activities
just so as not to be alone-
temptations!
