We were the people
Neither strong or feeble
Your heart became stone
And you left me all alone
Why did you go?
Always wanted to know
You were once someone close
You’re now among the ghosts
It doesn’t matter to me
What you may be
Our souls entwined like lace
But I’ll never see your face
You were soon to disappear
Now in my life is only fear
This I have to tell;
Memories of you are gone as well
