“My name is Saddam
I own all this land
All people must obey me
Or be crushed by my hand

I have my soldiers spread
In every part of my territory
Anyone who dares to speak up
I’ll kill them for treachery

Of course to the rest of the world
I’ll show myself as reasonable, calm
Don’t want to show what really happens
No need to cause alarm

I am not disturbed by the crying
Of the people I torture and kill
And in fact, keep this a secret,
It gives me such a thrill

I know I’m not the only one
Some other leaders are evil too
We love power and position so much
And hate anyone who shows what’s true”

Saddam caused suffering to many
Then died in a miserable state
What he was full of he also spread
Needless anger, violence and hate

They say he was killed by his own people
Even his statue stamped on by many feet
People openly curse him every day
Whilst he is silent, unable to speak.
