Nature and it's destruction

NATURE AND ITS DESTRUCTION.

“Oh Lord”, will we ever understand your works of wonder?
A mothers soothing word or the awesome sound of thunder.

The streams tinkling water, sounds like angel’s laughter,
a life of pious simplicity brings glory in the hereafter.

Being warmed by the sun in the chill of the morning,
how bees protect their hives by suddenly swarming
.
The weightlifting feats of the tireless but tiny ant,
the matriarchal example shown by the gentle elephant.

The beauty and complexity of nature and all she brings forth,
the bounties of ‘Allah’ in abundance here on this earth.

Without this ‘Garden of Eden’ and ‘God's’ own creations,
mankind like the dinosaurs would be in extinction.

The gentle lapping of the waves when summer is here,
waves pounding the shore when the storm draws near
.
How soft gentle water erodes even the hardest of stone,
so does hate erode the heart and leave us all alone.

The gentle sheep grazing quietly out on the hill,
the bloodlust of the wolf making his kill.

Listen to the songs the whales hauntingly sing,
with greed in his heart, the harpoon will man bring.

Countless thousands of flowers and plants with different aromas,
millions of stars, the suns, the moons their planets and coronas.

Untold millennia mankind has had these splendors to enjoy,
but with jealousy and greed, only a few centuries to destroy.

Until this century our food products where wholesome and good,
but with greed and blindness and chemicals we poison our food.

Our food stocks in the Oceans are not safe any longer,
as pollution from nuclear waste grows stronger and stronger.

With the Grace and blessing of ‘Allah’ we were given this Earth,
to go forth and multiply, in the name of ‘Allah’ by natural birth.

We were taught animal husbandry and how to farm the land,
in the ‘Holy books’ were the scripts for what ‘Allah’ had planned.

The Spiritual path brings you to be at one with your ‘God’,
but to imitate the ‘Creator’ is not for the man of the sod
.
We must cherish and nurture what ‘Allah’ has blessed and decreed,
not destroy or corrupt it with our lust and our greed.
