Near and Not so Dear

I have no stranger anxiety whatsoever.
The worst they can do is bodily harm
and bodies as such, don’t last very long.
It’s the ones that are close
who I worry about the most.
The closer they are, the more they can hurt.
Asymmetric love is such a bitch!
