I read some news today about people tortured and killed
So much suffering and pain, innocent blood being spilled

“Islamic” state – how can a Muslim do this?
How can horrific evil lead to heavenly bliss?

Some say foreign countries could be involved
And that Bashar Assad is also to blame
Many world leaders in recent and past history
Have been greedy for power, criminally insane

I am a Shia Muslim, and I say:
May Allah (SWT) curse and destroy all oppressors
Who refuse to reform and carry on this way
Whether they claim to be Shia, Sunni, any or no religion
Because doing these things prove they aren’t following any religion
And are not even human beings
And before I even approve of these barbaric crimes
May Allah (SWT) take my soul, Insha’Allah,
Better to die younger and on the right path
Than be shamed on the day of judgement, damned to hell.
