Ode to the Pen of the Faith

A refreshing write blew into the land of words
And
Opened up our minds and hearts to treasures in our midst
Like fine gold polished to a new shine
Throwing light to a heritage that cannot be defined
Hidden among the pages in a Book from the Divine
And
The examples of great warriors
Endangered to vanishing with the passing of time
Has the write been stilled, out of action?
Or
Just tangled up in the branches worldly distraction?
Refocus Regroup
There’s a lot to do
Guiding hearts and minds a great obligation and a responsibility
A form of worship with endless possibility
For the pen remains mightier than the sword
Through time nothing stands firmer than the word
So
Pick up your pen
And
For the sake of your Deen
Come, come
Write, write here once again
