dear Dr Seuss
make your way, to another day,
choices in your hands
take you to a maze,
meandering, wavering..
deep rooted, buttress roots,
uprooted - quite impossible..

Oh the Places You Go
you escape oh from that
which harmed you
unscathed..
in time for shelter
in time for safety
in time for light,
to enter..

Oh the Places You Go
You decide to explore
oh the dazzling lights,
tantalizing gastronomique,
psychedelic, motley hue -
come tempt you more
in and down you go
deep -
oh no!

Oh the Places You Go
Not again, shall you make,
another turn by mistake,
but a right one you will,
not so far ahead!
Straight, unwavering..
deep rooted this time
like buttress roots, except,
with His light, that shine..
