Sometimes it seems as though stories are paused
where you see things in such a slow motion
Time itself takes a momentary halt
and the only thing keeping you sane is that light.
The tiny flicker of light left in your heart
you're overcome by emotions and nothing matters anymore
but that tiny flicker of faith inside you pulls you back
u gain your composure, to face the pain your whole being fights to face
If you're lucky, faith wins
you learn to let go, exhale the pain away,
that everything has it's price, and after every hardship comes sweet ease.
a hardship sometimes is a blessing in disguise.
Patience pays, patience is wise,
a great triumph you realize.
