we all have packets
of information
that we carry in our minds
…sort of lodged in memory space

it got there
when our thinking
wasn’t well developed
or overly developed

intelligence didn’t question its veracity
when it was coming in
…or so we think
when, about it, we think

basis of info is tied to our peace of mind
Our decision matrix
as such
doesn’t let us work much on it

One packet is religion for sure
…others are politics and beliefs and faiths.
Our natural instincts are primed
to guard it, or so it seems.
