Soul Pass
My pagan body with a human heart
has a secular mind and a believing soul.
All day long they jostle each other
to control my external behavior

Only a soul fortified with good deeds
will survive the death tunnel to hereafter.
If not, it will be left behind
to rot or fry with the others, I think.
