THE DEVIL WITHIN

Oh Allah please free me,
From this devil within me,
This uncontrollable RAGE,
That makes silent tears run down my face,

Oh Allah please release me,
From a SORROW so great,
That it is like a tight ball of black HATE,
It makes me clench my jaws together
Feels like forever,

Oh Allah please steer me clear,
From a SPITE so poisonous,
Gathering on my ANGRY tongue,
And the urge for VENGENCE so sore,
It burns an acidic hole,
Right to my very core,

Oh Allah please liberate me,
From this bitter BETRAYAL,
That burns like bile at the back of my throat,
And all the LIES and DECEIT,
That will surely imprison me,
For all eternity,

Oh Allah please guide me,
Away from this DARK place inside me,
The one that THREATENS to swallow,
And DESTROY everything,
That’s within me,
Please Allah not anything around me,

Oh Allah please show me how to FORGIVE,
Let me ACCEPT,
And BELIEVE,
In Your DIVINE JUSTICE,
You are SUFFICIENT for me,
You are the DISPOSER of all our humanly affairs,
And
Finally to find that elusive feeling,
The one that’s called
PEACE.
