Iam Satisfied with Allâh as My Rabb and Cherisher,Iam Satisfied With Islam as My Din(religion) and I am satisfied with Muhammad as a Rasulallah (Messenger)sallallahu alaihi was salam) I seek Protection with ALLAH! With the Glorious and Noble Face of ALLAH! With the Complete and Perfect words of ALLAH! With the Exalted Attributes of ALLAH! From the Punishment of Hell; From chastisement in the Grave; From the Trial of Life and Death; From the Mischief of the dajjal. There is no power nor strength with (anyone) save Allah. ALLAH is Good and Only accept that which is Good. ALLAH is the Truth and only accept that which True. ALLAH is Pure and only accept that which is Pure. Ya ALLAH! ALL the praises are for You,You are the Holder of the Heavens and the Earth, And whatever is in them. Ya ALLAH! All praises are for You; You are are the Substaner of the Heavens and the Earth And whatever is in them. Ya ALLAH! Ya ALLAH! You have promise and Your promise is the truth,Ya ALLAH! You have promise and Your words is the truth, Ya ALLAH! You have promise and You are the Truth!. “O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except as Muslims.” Al Imran 3:102}] O you who believe! The message is clearly directed to us as believers. It is not a general statement but addressed specifically to the believers and hence the emphasis – O you who believe – Fear Allah. Fear Allah as He should be feared and die not but as Muslims. This ayah from the Surah Al Imran (3:102) states a simple and straightforward message that forms the basis of our Iman i.e. having Taqwa. The word Taqwa, having the fear of Allah, has been mentioned in the Qur'an 251 times as an indication of the importance of the subject and the dimension that the concept of Taqwa – the fear of Allah swt. Today as Muslims - both in the west and in the Muslim world our Iman is weak and the fear that we should have for ALLAH our Creator! Today!it is displaced by the fear for the created. The created, people, wealth ... We fear people, we fear poverty, we fear humiliation, but we do not fear disgracing ourselves before ALLAH or before man!,but we do fear death and we fear and fear everything but Allah swt as He should be feared- the most prominent fear and only fear that we should have is deficient. This overpowering fear of created things rather than for The Creator of all has subjected us (as a collective Ummah) to one humiliation after another with subsequent loss of our Integrity, our Honor, our dignity and our self-respect. So when we love this life and hate death we suffer from a sickness in our hearts, a sickness in our Iman. This weakness of Iman is what I would like to share with you today. The phenomenon of weak faith has become so widespread among Muslims throughout the world in this day and time. So often we feel this hardness in our heart, this hardness is do to sin and corruption in the environment,in that we do not find any joy in worship, reading Qur’an does not move us and we fall into sin so easily. It is unfortunate that this entity of weakness often goes by our entire existence without us being consciously aware of its destructive nature – and how it is detrimental to the spiritual and the moral aspects of our lives. As Muslims this is not acceptable, but the Muslims of today accepted it. We need to recognize and acknowledge our weakness before ALLAH and make a sincere effort to correct them by changing these weakness in to become our strength to serve Allah swt and His Din(Islam). What causes weakness of faith: Four broad categories include (1).Failing to seek knowledge on a constant basis. Many of us have abandoned reading the Qur’an and Hadith on a daily basis and when we do we seldom reflect on its message or seek guidance. Our minds are not focused on the virtue of its message. We starve ourselves in the knowledge of deen by allowing our attention to be diverted by feasting on daily talk shows on TV, or other forms of destructive activities for the passing of time. We miss out on that breeze of Iman that softens hearts. (2).Living in an environment surrounded with sin and corruption is conducive to weakening the faith. In this environment temptation exists, continuously at every point. We need to guard our prayers and our Iman. We are not as Allah conscious as we ought to be, we allow ourselves to be swayed and distracted by temptations and by the wicked people of this world. We have been devoid of a faith-filled environment for too long, our environment at home is not a faith-filled environment, we need to constructure our surrounding at home with faith-factors at all times, such as salat, recitation of Quran that will fill the home with the words of ALLAH..We’ve become de-sensitised and lost sight of the world of Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) . We are oblivious to the good as taught and live by Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) . The Moral and spiritual values that elevate the muslims people and gave us great dignity are replaced by the worldly pleasures of today’s society. We fail to protect our families and ourselves from acts of disobedience and often we accept them as the norm,For the believing muslim disobedience can never be accept as norm. And seldom do we turn to Allah swt in repentance (tawbah). This is our ignorance, our weakness,And our foolish Hearts. And last but not the least.

(3). Preoccupation with our worldly life, while neglecting the hereafter. Our day to day activities centre around our material world - our business, our work, our money, our bills, the sizes of our homes, our cars, and so on. These take preference both in our minds and speech. This preoccupation with the world enslaves our hearts. We have allowed the diseases of the heart to flourish such as vanity, pride, fame, glory. We tend to get lost in these illusions, fooled by the worldly glamour and fail to illuminate our hearts with Allah’s Noor(The Light of ALLAH). We remain pre-occupied with our worldly life. Allah says in

Surah Al Hijr 15:3“ Leave them to eat and enjoy, and let them be preoccupied with (false) hope. They will come to know!” And Allah swt created us only for His Ubudiya, for His worship alone, as His slaves but today we have become slaves to this duniya, this world, slaves of our desires and ambitions, slaves to wealth. Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) said: “He is doomed, the slave of the dinar and the slave of the dirham” (Reported by al-Bukhari, no. 2730), Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) further said: “Every nation has its fitnah (trial or temptation), and the fitnah of my Ummah is wealth.” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, 2336). So this eagerness to acquire wealth has weakens our Iman(our faith). This is what Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) meant when he said: “Two hungry wolves sent against the sheep do not do more damage than what a man’s eagerness for wealth does to his religion.” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 2376). That is it leaves him injured or dead as far as his Iman is concerned.

We must analyse and reflect where we are in terms of our knowledge, our environment, our desires, our hopes and dreams and our level of Iman.{as far as knowledge is concerned most of us who say that we are muslim don't know what islam calls for.}And as far as environment is concerned, we have already said what need to be done.

A weak Iman is a disease of the heart. And like all diseases this too has its symptoms. And those symptoms that are more apparent, and perhaps we can list these and perform a self- assessment of our Iman. Performing salat devoid of feeling, and performance of salat without the keenness to earn reward, performance of salat without humility and disobedience indicate a weak Iman. Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) said that “Allah does not accept the dua’ of one whose heart is heedless of Him.” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 3479). (4)All of the above are also from the effects of black magic, voodoo, sorcery and witchcraft. They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew!(2:102) Many Muslims are being worked on by unseen evil, such as black magic and voodoo. Such evil can take the spiritual strength away and bring about a lack of zeal and enthusiasm in prayer and other acts of worship such that we are able to perform yet we tend to procrastinate because of the effects of such evil . For instance Hajj, often many of us are able to perform Hajj, yet we delay it under the influence of these powerful evils,or we just can not seem to make it because we are being worked on unconsciously or fail to go for Jihad when we have the strength to do so,or give Zakat when we have the means to do so and even pray in congregation when we are able to do so,these forms of magic removes zeal and enthusiasm from our hearts .All these traits of the weakness of faith are also the effects of black magic, voodoo, sorcery and witchcraft, these evils also brings chaos and confusion into our lives. But if this weakness of faith is do to sins then This lax attitude is in contrast to what Allah swt describes in Surah Al Anbiya 21:90]“… They used to hasten on to do good deeds, and they used to call on Us with hope and fear, and used to humble themselves before Us.” 2.And where are we in terms of our acts of worship? 3.Not being moved by the ayah of the Qur’an is yet another sign of the Weakness of Iman. We hear and read the words of the Quran but seldom relate to its meanings. The promises of Paradise or its warnings of Hell do not touch our hearts. Its commands and prohibitions, its descriptions of the Day of Resurrection are not taken into the seriousness that it involves. The one who is weak in faith gets bored when he hears the Qur’an being recited, and cannot continue reading it. Whenever he opens the mus-haf, he soon closes it again. Not remembering ALLAH often or making dua’, such that dhikr or remembrance of Allah swt becomes difficult, and when we raises his hands to make dua’, we quickly lower them again. A difference between those of faith and the hypocrites is that of remembrance of Allah swt.

Allah swt has described the hypocrites in Surah Al Nisa 4:142 “… and they do not remember Allah but little.” Another example. 5.Falling into sin and commit haraam deeds with ease. Without any hesitation or reservation we fall into sins. Persisting in our sins to the extent that the sins become a part and a habit for us. And where we commit sins openly? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) “All of my Ummah will be fine except for those who commit sin openly, an example of which is a man who does something at night, and when morning comes and Allah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So-and-so, I did such and such yesterday.’ His Lord had covered his sin all night, but he has uncovered what Allah had concealed.” (Reported by al-Bukhari,). Sinning without ease and with no remorse or repentance for it. Physically this weakness manifests as anxiety, mood swings and depressions that weighs a man down. Irritability sets in and he has no tolerance. This is the sick heart it wavers between the Light and darkness,This is a heart with life in it, as well as illness. The former sustains it at one moment, the latter at another, and it follows whichever one of the two manages to dominate it. It has love for Allah, faith in Him, sincerity towards Him, and reliance upon Him, and these are what give it life. It also has a craving for lust and pleasure, and prefers them and strives to experience them. It is full of self-admiration, which can lead to its own destruction. It listens to two callers: one calling it to Allah and His Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) and the akhirah; and the other calling it to the fleeting pleasures of this world. It responds to whichever one of the two happens to have most influence over it at the time. Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) described faith when he said, “Iman is patience and tolerance” The heart that harbours love for fame, desire for leadership without understanding the serious responsibility involved, stinginess and greed, malicious enjoyments of the failures of others can not share abundance of Iman in the same heart. Two important aspects that affect us not just on an individual basis but collectively as an Ummah are: 1. Not feeling any responsibility to work for Islam.

2. Lack of concerns for Muslims Ummah. Islam and spreading of its message is our duty. The attitude of the Sahabah of Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) who as soon as they entered this religion felt this responsibility right away, for example, al-Tufayl ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him), who became Muslim and went to call his people to Islam straight away. He was only a new Muslim but he felt that he had to go back and call his people to Islam, and he went and did this. Today after being committed to Islam for several years we still hold ourselves back for fear, for thoughts of being considered old fashioned “ out of the loop ”, for rejection and being able to Fit In. It comes from the sickness of the heart. Lack of concern for the welfare of Muslims Ummah is lack of faith. Whether it be by making dua’, giving charity or helping them. A person or a people with weak Iman has a distant attitude towards the oppression, suppression and disasters suffered by the MuslimUmmah in any part of the world, be it Syria, Palestine, India, Bosnia, Iraq, Egypt and others. And is content merely with their own safety because this world is everything to them. This is the result of weak faith. Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) said: “The believer’s position in relation to his fellow believers is like that of the head to the body; the believer feels the pain of his fellow believers as the body reacts to the pain suffered by the head.”(Musnad Ahmad, 5/340). Do we feel the pain, the torment, and the oppression? Do we feel the hunger, the sense of loss and the hurt? Do we feel angry when the limits set by Allah are violated? We don’t feel this anger because the flame of zeal has been extinguished in his heart. One no longer takes action to stop evil, or guides evildoers to do good deeds, or denounce wrongdoing. We seldom get angry for the sake of Allah. Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) described this heart ravaged by weakness in the Hadith: “The heart will be subjected to trial after trial, and there will appear a black stain on any heart that is affected, which will spread until the heart is completely black and sealed, as it were, so that it will not recognize any good deed or denounce any evil, except whatever suits its own desires.” (Reported by Muslim, no. 144). This is the Dead Heart.

This is the opposite of the healthy heart. It does not know its Rabb and does not worship Him as He commands, in the way which He(ALLAH) likes, and with which He is pleased. It clings instead to its lusts and desires, even if these are likely to incur Allah's displeasure and wrath. It worships things other than Allah, and its loves and its hatreds, and its giving and its withholding, arise from its whims, which are of paramount importance to it and preferred above the pleasure of Allah. Its whims are its imam. Its lust is its guide. Its ignorance is its leader. Its crude impulses are its impetus. It is immersed in its concern with worldly objectives. It is drunk with its own fancies and its love for hasty, fleeting pleasures. It is called to Allah and the akhirah from a distance but it does not respond to advice, and instead it follows any scheming, cunning Shaytan. Life angers and pleases it, and passion makes it deaf and blind to anything except what is evil.

While thousands of Muslims are killed all over the world, and while tens of thousands are imprisoned and tortured for calling to the path of Allah and for enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, most Muslims today remain remarkably silent and have no worry except for the material things of life. Their hearts have been filled with the love of this life and the forgetfulness of the Hereafter.

To associate and keep company with the owners of such a heart is to tempt illness: living with them is like taking poison, and befriending them means utter destruction. {While Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) was sitting in the mosque (with some people) three men came, two of them came in front of Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) and the third one went away, and then one of them found a place in the circle and sat there while the second man sat behind the gathering, and the third one went away. When Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these three persons? One of them betook himself to Allah and so Allah accepted him and accommodated him; the second felt shy before Allah so Allah did the same for him and sheltered him in His Mercy (and did not punish him), while the third turned his face from Allah, and went away, so Allah turned His face from him likewise. O Ummah of Islam! O Muslims people!Let us not turn our faces away from ALLAH, in disobedient by being distracted by the World. We are Living in a world of distraction where it is so easy to be disobedient, when the priority should be what ALLAH has said and what the Sunnah of Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) has exemplified and it should be regarded as more important among the muslims, those most important things has become secondary, unimportance in the eyes of the muslims people of today. because they want to be accepted by the western people who disbelieve and are against Islam. So they turn away, they turn their back on islam, and look towards having a good time, all the time! .So they go against what ALLAH has said and what Rasulallah(sallallahu alayahi wa salam) lived, in one of the most critical and crucial moment in the history of Islam. In the time of the dajjal, the worst of all evils of all times. Islam is the noah's ark for all times, this is the ship which can carry us through the stormy oceans of immorality, homosexuality and atheistism, these turbulent waters cover the face of the earth today as they did in the time of Noah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, and on all who follow the straightness of his way. .there is Nothing more safe than true belief in the Din of ALLAH with sound knowledge and sincere actions. Islam is a jewel of holy wisdom and mercy transmitted from the most high through the agency of His Angel Jibril to His Nabi (Prophet) and Rasul (Messenger)Muhammad(sallallahu alayahi wa salam). Being such a jewel from on high, it bears many facets and dimensions within it. As one surrenders more and more deeply in devotion, more facets and dimensions of the jewel reveal themselves. It is the faith of believers which keeps Islam alive in the hearts of men in every age and keeps the form of the law itself vitalized from within. It is the believers! when they read the words of ALLAH, they say we hear and we obey, and when they hear the words of ALLAH read out to them and the saying of Rasool Allah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) quoted to them in Friday Jummah Khutbah they we hear and we obey!

Say: Obey Allah and obey the Messenger: but if you turn away then he (the Messenger) is only responsible for the duty placed on him, and you for that placed on you. If you obey him, you shall be on right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only clear deliverance [of the Message]." [Al-Qur'an 24:54]. Here Allah ta'ala makes obeying the Messenger sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam a condition for guidance; guidance cannot be acquired without this obedience. The duty of the Messenger sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam is to deliver the Message; and people's duty is to follow, obey, and submit to him. Al-Bukhari reported that Az-Zuhri18 said: "From Allah [comes] the knowledge; from the Messenger sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam [comes] the deliverance [of the knowledge]; and from us [comes] the submission [to the Message]." Thus if people neglect their duty of belief and obedience, they would harm themselves not him; his responsibility is not to make them believe, but only to deliver the Message to them; it is not required from him that people be guided and successful. Iman is not complete, or not even present in a person, unless he submits the Texts [of the Qur'an and Sunnah] with acceptance and pleasure, proclaims them, and invites people to them. He should never respond to them with rejection or distortion. Allah ta'ala said: "It is not befitting for a believing man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger, to have any option about their decision." [Al-Qur'an 33:36]. This ayah indicates that when it is confirmed that Allah ta'ala or His Messenger sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam have made a decision or have informed about a particular matter, then no believer, male or female, may choose differently. Any opposing choice would contradict Iman. Ash-Shafi'i reported a consensus among the scholars of the Sahabah, the Tabi'in, and their followers, that: "If a sunnah of Allah's Messenger sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam becomes manifest to a person, he does not have any choice but to follow it, regardless of what other people say." No Muslim scholar disputes or doubts the truth of this statement. The only evidence that people are required to follow [besides Allah's Book] is the words of the Infallible (Muhammad sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) "who does not say anything out of (his own) desire" [Al-Qur'an 53:3]. Other people's talks could, at best, be acceptable to follow. But in no way may they oppose or outweigh the Texts (of the Qur'an and Sunnah). We ask Allah ta'ala to protect us from the failure [incurred on those who do not abide by this].----------------------------------------------------------
