Sayings of sacred people
tingle our latent wisdom
when heard centuries after they are spoken.
They are as unseen as angels on our shoulders.

Religious rituals are also unseen
but they establish faith
and togetherness.
Believing them is a given

Are some unseens
better than other unseens?

Biological instincts lack vigor
to parse them clearly
Sharp truth with rigor may shed light
contextually

Regardless it’s hard to understand
the peddling of this life for an apathiest.
When there are enough uncertainties for disbelievers
and sufficient certainties for believers
