This life is just…
An illusion,
So full of confusion,
Nothing as it seems,
A poor substitution,

This life is just…
A trick,
A momentary delight,
Now you see it,
Now you don’t,
With a flick of light,

This life is just…
A wavering mirage,
The fantasy of a thirsty mind,
Reach out to touch,
And it vaporises,
Into the desert sky,

This life is just…
A dream,
In a sleepers mind,
Beautiful or Nightmare,
Too soon,
Time to wake up,

This life is just…
Momentary,
A testing ground,
Full of trials and tribulations,
For our final destination,
InshAllah,
Jannat for all Mumin
