I wonder if we'll ever go
back to where we used to be.
You and I
were inseparable
or so I thought
Ah! Silly old me.
Time proved me wrong
so maybe
just maybe
time itself will bring you back to me.
until then
I will hold ever so close
the silent thoughts of you
as company.
