Transcendental Trilogy

At the dawn of civilization
elements of divinity
Time, Truth and Love
descended as concepts
into the realm
of human consciousness.

Time is best understood
by measuring its duration.
As to its origin or destination
there is a lot of speculation.

We always recognize truth
whenever it is clear to see.
We often choose to ignore it
whenever we don’t agree.

We are always looking for love
and are never sure if its true
We insist on paying for it too
when in its purest form, it’s free.
