''I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah
who is without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) is the Rasool.''
"O Allah, Shower Your Peace come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have brought peace to Ibrahim and his family.
Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, Shower your blessing upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious". I am Satisfied with Allâh as My Rabb and Cherisher,Iam Satisfied With Islam as My Din(religion) and I am satisfied with Muhammad as a Rasulallah (Messenger)sallallahu alaihi was salam). I seek Protection with ALLAH! With the Glorious and Noble Face of ALLAH! With the Complete and Perfect words of ALLAH! With the Exalted Attributes of ALLAH! From the Punishment of Hell; From chastisement in the Grave; From the Trial of Life and Death; From the Mischief of the dajjal.------------------- --------------------- Trials of the Heart.-----------------{O Muslim People! THIS IS K.IBRAHIM! I ask you in the Name of ALLAH! To make Dua(Pray) for me! that ALLAH increase and Strengthen my (faith) imaan!}

Ibn al-Qayyim said, whilst commenting upon the following hadith: "Trials and tribulations will be presented to hearts, as a reed mat is interwoven stick by stick. Any heart which absorbs these trials will have a black mark put in it. However, any heart that rejects them will have a white mark put in it. The result is that hearts will be of two kinds: one white like a white stone, which will not be harmed by trials as long as the heavens and earth endure; and the other dark and rusty, like an over-turned vessel; not able to recognise the good, nor reject evil, but rather being absorbed with its desires." Related by Muslim (no.144), from Hudhayfah radiallahu 'anhu. "The fitan (trials) which are presented to the hearts - and which are the cause of its weakness - are: (1).)the trials relating to shahwah (false desire); and
(2). the trials relating to shubhah (doubt).
... so the first causes intentions and desires to be corrupted, whilst the second causes knowledge and beliefs to be corrupted." Ighathat al-Luhfan (p.40)
Speaking about such trials, he - rahimahullah - said: "Hearts - when exposed to such fitan (trials) - are of two types:
[The first type]: a heart, which, when exposed to such trials, absorbs it like a sponge that soaks-up water, leaving in it a black stain. Such a heart continues to soak-up the various trials that are presented to it, until it becomes dark and corrupted - which is what is meant by "an over-turned vessel." So when this occurs, two dangerous and deadly diseases take hold of it and plunge it into destruction:

1.Confusing good with evil, so it neither recognises the good, nor rejects the evil. This disease may take hold of it to such an extent that it believes good to be evil; and evil to be good, Sunnah to be bid'ah (innovation); and innovations to be the Sunnah and the truth to be falsehood and falsehood the truth;

2.Judging by its whims and desires, over and against what Allah's Messenger sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam came with being enslaved by its whims and desires and being led by them also.

[The second type]: a white heart in which the light of eeman is bright and its radiance is illuminating. So when trials are presented to such a heart, it rejects and turns away from them. This further increases its light and illumination and its strength." Ighathat al-Luhfan (pp. 39-40).-------------------------- Effects of the Five Heart Corrupters.
Ibn Qayyim said,
The Five Heart Corrupters are: Excessive socializing, wishful thinking, attachment to others besides Allah, eating to one’s fill, and sleep. These five factors are the greatest corrupters of the heart. In this article We will mention the effects that are common to all of them as well as those effects that are unique to each of them.
Know that the heart is on a journey to Allah, Most Great and Glorious, and to the world of the Hereafter, and [that it is able to] discover the path of truth as well as the faults of the soul and of deeds. Its path is traversed with its light, life, strength, health, determination or resolution"(azm), the soundness of its hearing and sight, as well as the absence of distractions and impediments from it. These five (corrupters) extinguish its light, distort its vision, muffle its hearing, if they do not deafen it, dumfound it, and weaken its powers/ and its strengths altogether. They weaken its health, slacken its drive, halt its decisions, and reverse it (sending it backwards). And if one does not sense it, his heart is dead – as wounding a corpse does not inflict pain. They are impediments that prevent it from achieving its perfection, and prevent it from arriving to what it was created for the service and worship of ALLAH, and heart making its pleasure and happiness ibtihaah and its enjoyment in arriving to it. For there is no pleasure, sweetness, ibtihaaj, or perfection except by knowing Allah and loving Him, peace in remembrance of Him, happiness and ibtihaaj in being close to Him and desiring to meet Him.[1] This is (the heart’s) early paradise in this world, and it's greatest desire, tranquility in the Heart, serenity in the soul and peace in the mind. As there will be no pleasure or success for it in the Hereafter, except by being its neighbour in the abode of serenity, tranquility and peace in the early paradise in this world, and that can only be obtain through the love for ALLAH, and through Holy Quran And the Sunnah of Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam).. The Heart' It has two paradises one in this world and the other in the hereafter. It (The Heart) will not enter the second of the two if it did not enter the first.
Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah – may Allah have mercy on him – said: “Indeed there is a paradise in this world( And that is n the Heart), whoever doesn’t enter it will not enter the paradise of the Hereafter.”
… Some of those known for their love of Allah (al-muhibboon) [were reported to have] said: “The truly unfortunate people of this world are those who leave the world without tasting the sweetest thing it contains.” When they were asked what it was, they replied: “The love of Allah, to feel comfortable in His company, to desire to meet Him, turning towards Him and turning away from everything besides Him.” Or some words similar to that. [2] Everyone who has a heart of faith and devotion bears witness to this and knows it is a result of having tasted it the sweetness of this life, The true worship of ALLAH with deep (Khushoo) Humility and devotion this is the sweetness of this life. Ya Allah! I bag of you for granting me righteousness like those who are on the right path, actions like those who are true Believers, sincerity like those who do taubah, constancy like the contented ones, precaution like those who truly fear You, And yearning like those who truly love You, And devotion like pious devotees, and knowledge like the religious scholars, so that I may fear You. Ya Allah! grant me such fear of You that may prevent me from doing any wrong, so that, through submission to You, I may do such deeds as may earn for me your pleasure and your approval, and so that I may do taubah with sincerity out of fear of You, and that I may become truly sincere out of love for You, and that I may rely on You, because I always hope for better (things) from You. Ya ALLAH! You are The Creator of noor. You are above all defects. Ya! our Sustainer!, grant us complete light (noor) and forgive us; There is no doubt that You have complete control over every and all things. O Most Merciful! Of those who show Mercy! Grant our prayer out of Your Mercy!" O Most Merciful! Of those who show Mercy! Grant our prayer out of Your Mercy!" O Most Merciful! Of those who show Mercy! Grant our prayer out of Your Mercy!" ------ There are five matters that corrupt the heart and these five matters cut [the person] off from this, block the heart from it, impede its journey, cause sicknesses and defects for which, if the sick person does not realize it, [destruction] is feared.
The First Corrupter: Frequent Socializing
The effect of frequent socializing is that it fills the heart with the smoke of anfaas of humans until it becomes black, [3] causing it to be scattered, torn apart, worried, upset, and weak. It causes it to carry what it is unable to from mu’nat evil companions and waste what is beneficial for it, by becoming too preoccupied with evil companions and their matters to attend to what is beneficial. (The heart instead is busy with) scattered thoughts in the valleys of their requests and wishes. So what remains of it for Allah and the life to come?
How many adversities has mixing with people brought and how many blessings has it repelled? [How many] trials has it caused and opportunities disabled, raziyyah caused to fall in baliyyah. Is aafah the downfall of people caused by other than people? Did Abu Talib at the time of his death have anything more harmful to himself than evil companions? They remained with him until they blocked him from the one statement that would have guaranteed him eternal pleasure.
This socializing based on love in this world, the fulfillment of desires from others, will change into enmity when the realities become manifest, and some of those who socialized will bite their hands in regret as ALLAH the Almighty said:“On the Day when the sinner will bite his hands saying: If only I had taken a way to the Messenger. Woe to me, if only I hadn’t taken so-and-so as a close friend. He misguided me from the Remembrance after it came to me.’ And Satan is forever a deserter of humans in their time of need.” (Surah al-Furqaan, 25: 27-9)
He(ALLAH) also said: Close friends on that Day will be foes of each other except the ALLAH fearing (God-fearing).” (Surah az-Zukhruf, 43: 67)
And He said:
“Indeed what you have taken besides Allah is only idols. Love between you is only in this world, but on the Day of Resurrection you will disown each other and curse each other and your abode will be the fire and you will have no helpers.” (Surah al-‘Ankaboot, 29: 25)
That is the state of those who share goals, they love each other as long they help each other to achieve it. But if the goal is cut off, it is followed by regret, sadness and pain, and that love will change into hatred, cursing, blame of one another, and the goals change into unhappiness and punishment, as is witnessed in this life in the states of those who share in khizyah failure, if they are caught and punished. Each supporter of falsehood, friendly regarding it, their mutual love must eventually change into hatred and enmity.
The useful defining principle in the matter of socializing is that one should mix with people in [acts of] goodness like Jumu‘ah, the ‘Eids, Hajj, learning knowledge, giving advice; and avoid them in [acts of] evil, as well as unnecessary permissible things. If necessity requires mixing with them in evil and avoiding them is not possible, then beware, beware of agreeing with them. And be patient with their harm, for they must harm him if he does not have power or a helper. However, it is harm followed by honor and love for him, respect and praise for him from them, the believers, and from the Rabb of the worlds.

Thus, patience with their harm is a better ending and a more praiseworthy conclusion. If necessity requires mixing with them in unnecessary permissible things, he should strive to transform the gathering into one of obedience to ALLAH if it is possible, he should encourage himself and strengthen his heart, and not pay attention to the satanic whisper of discouragement which will prevent him from that, that this is riyaa showing off, a love of displaying one’s knowledge and state, etc., he should fight it and seek help from Almighty ALLAH and try to affect them as positively as he can. If destiny prevents him from that, he should remove his heart from among them the way a hair is removed from dough. Among them he should be present yet absent, close yet far and asleep yet awake. He should look at them and not see them, hear their words but not be conscious of them, because he has removed his heart from among them and ascended with it to the uppermost hosts (al-mala’il-a‘laa) glorifying [ALLAH] around the throne along with the pure celestial spirits. How difficult this is and trying for the souls, [yet] it is easy for whoever ALLAH makes it easy. Between a slave and [that state] is that he be truthful to Allah – Blessed and High – continually seeking refuge in Him, and that he throw his soul on [ALLAH’s] doorstep in humility and tareeh. Nothing will help him to do that besides sincere love, continual remembrance of ALLAH with the heart and tongue, and avoidance of the remaining four corrupters to be mentioned. He will achieve this except with righteous preparation and strong material from ALLAH – Most Great and Glorious – and a truthful conviction, and freedom from attachment to other than Allah, Most High. And ALLAH Almighty knows best. The Second Corrupter: Riding the Sea of Wishes It is a sea without shores. It is the sea ridden by the bankrupt of the world. It is said: Wishes are the capital of the bankrupt, and its travel provisions are the promises of Satan, and impossible imaginations and falsehood. The wealth of false wishes and false imaginations continue to play with one who rides them the way that dogs play with a jeefah corpse. They are the supplies of every maheenah disgraced, khaseesah humiliated, low soul, having no conviction to achieve external realities. So it i‘taadat turned away from them with mental wishes. And everyone has it according to his state: From a wisher for power and authority, or travel and international travel, or wealth and valuables, or women and mardaan, The wisher imagines an image of what he desires in his mind, and he succeeds in creating it and takes pleasure in capturing it. While he is in this state he suddenly awakes to find his hand and al-haseer. (p. 446)

The one who has lofty/high conviction himmah his hopes pivot around knowledge and faith and deeds which will bring him closer to his Rabb, and yudeenuhu min jiwaarih. These wishes are faith, light and wisdom, while the wishes of those are deception and delusion.

Rasulallah( sallallahu alayhi wa salam) praised the one who wishes for good, and made his reward in some things similar to that of the one who actually does it, like the one who says: If I had money I would do as so-and-so does who fears his Rabb regarding his wealth, strengthening family ties with it, and extracts from it what is required. He said: “Regarding reward, they are equal.” [4] Rasulallah( sallallahu alayhi wa salam)wished in the Farewell Pilgrimage that he was doing Hajj Tamattu‘ and khalla and that he did not take a sacrificial animal with him, [5] as he was doing Hajj Qiraan. So Allah gave him the reward of Qiraan which he did and the reward of Tamattu‘ which he wished for and combined for him both rewards.

The Third Corrupter: Attachment to Other Than ALLAH

This is the absolute worst of the corrupters. There is none more harmful than attachment to other than ALLAH, nor more able to cut the heart off from ALLAH, and block it from what is beneficial to it and what will bring it true happiness. If a heart becomes attached to other than ALLAH, ALLAH makes him dependent on what he is attached to and he will be betrayed by it and he will not achieve what he was seeking from ALLAH as long as he is attached to other than ALLAH and turning to others besides Him. Thus, he will not obtain what he sought from ALLAH nor will what he was attached to besides ALLAH bring it for him

“And they have taken gods besides ALLAH that they might give them honor, power and glory. No. But they will deny their worship of them and become opponents to them.” (Surah Maryam, 19: 81-2)

“And they have taken besides ALLAH gods hoping that they might be helped. They cannot help them but they will be brought forward as a troop against them.” (Surah Yaaseen, 36: 74-5)

The person most betrayed is the one who is attached to other than ALLAH. For what he missed of benefits, happiness and success is far greater that what he obtained from those to whom he was attached, and it is exposed to disappearance and loss. The example of one attached to other than Allah is like one seeking shade from the heat and cold in a spider’s web (home), the weakest wahn of homes.

In general, the basis of idolatry and the foundation on which it is built is: Attachment to other than ALLAH, and for the one who does so there is condemnation and betrayal, as stated by the Almighty:

“Do not set up with ALLAH any other god or you will sit down reproved and forsaken.” (Surah al-Israa, 17: 22)

“Reproved” without anyone to praise you, “forsaken” without anyone to help you. As some people may be forced while being praised, like one is forced by falsehood, and he could be forsaken while being helped [by ALLAH], like one forced and falsehood has gained the upper hand over him, and he could be praised and supported like one becomes established and gains dominion by way of the truth. The idolater attached to other than ALLAH, his is the vilest category, neither praised nor supported.

The Fourth Corrupter: Food

The corrupter of the heart is of two types: One of them is that which corrupts it by itself like the forbidden which are two types:

• Forbidden relative to ALLAH like carcasses, blood, pork, wild animals that kill with the canine tooth [6]and birds that kill with claws.

• Forbidden relative to ALLAH’s slaves, like stolen, maghsoob, kidnapped, and what is taken without the permission of the owner either by force or by shame and blame.

The second is what corrupts as a result of its quantity and its exceeding limits, like wasting permissible things, excessive filling of the stomach, for it makes acts of obedience burdensome and it preoccupies the heart with muzaawalat mu’nat al-batnah chasing after belly desires and trying for it until it captures it. If it captures zafara it he becomes preoccupied with muzaawalat following its tasarruf activities and protecting the self from its harm, and being hurt by its weight, and it strengthens the elements of desire. It paves paths for Satan and expands them, for he moves among humans in the veins. Fasting narrows its passages and closes his paths and filling the stomach paves paths and widens them. Whoever eats a lot, drinks a lot, sleeps a lot and loses a lot. In the famous hadith:

“No human fills a container worse than his stomach. Two small portions of food to straighten his backbone are sufficient. If he must [eat more], then let it be a third for food, a third for drink and a third for breathing.” [7]

It is said that [on one occasion] Iblees – may ALLAH curse him – met Yahyaa, son of Zakariyyaa – peace be upon them – and Yahyaa asked him: “Did you take anything from me.” He replied: “No, except one night when food was presented to you, I made it so desirable to you that you ate your fill and you went sleep without making your regular supplications.” Yahyaa said: “I swear by Allah that I will never eat my fill again.” Iblees then said: “As for me, I swear by ALLAH that I will never advise another human again.”

The Fifth Corrupter: Excessive Sleep

It deadens the heart, makes the body heavy, wastes time, and gives birth to a lot of negligence and laziness. Some [types] of sleep are extremely disliked, and some are harmful to the body. The best form of sleep is what takes place when there exists a strong need for it. Sleep at the beginning of the night is more praiseworthy and beneficial than at the end of the night, and sleep in the middle of the day is better than at its beginning and end tarafayhi. The closer sleep is to the beginning and ending of the day the less the benefit and the more the harm. [This is] especially the case for sleeping in the after noon (‘asr) and sleeping at the beginning of the day, except for one who stayed awake all night.

And among the disliked aspects, according to the scholars, is sleep between Salaatul-Fajr and sunrise, for it is a time of special reward.[8] For that time escape, among the saalikeen (travellers), is a great loss maziyyah. Even if they traveled all night they would not allow sitting down from the journey sayr at that time until sunrise, because it is the beginning of the day and its key. [It is] the time for provisions to be sent down [and distributed], the time for obtaining portions and the descent of blessings, and from it the day is established. The ruling regarding the whole day is [based on] the ruling regarding that portion. One should only sleep at that time if one is forced.

In general, the most balanced/moderate (a‘dal) and beneficial form of sleep, is sleep during the first portion of the night and the last sixth of the night. According to medical practitioners, the length of the most balanced form of sleep should be eight hours. In their view, more [sleep] than that or less than that will cause deviation in one’s natural disposition according to it bihasabihi.

Among the forms of sleep that are not beneficial also, is sleep in the first part of the night shortly after sunset until fahmatul-‘ishaa the darkness of ‘Ishaa goes. Rasulallah( sallallahu alayhi wa salam)used to dislike it.[9] So it is disliked according to the Sharee‘ah and naturally.

As excessive sleep causes these defects aafaat, putting aside sleep and abandoning it causes other major defects like bad temperament, yabsihi dry personality and a warped disposition, as well as drying up of the humors [10] which aid in understanding and work, and it leads to illnesses mutlifah which will prevent one afflicted from benefiting either with his heart or body.

Existence [of the world] was established on the basis of justice (‘adl), so whoever adheres to moderation has grabbed his portion of the confluence of good.---- The Signs of a pure and Healthy Heart: (1) One considers himself as belonging to the next world and not this world. (2)One continues to be upset with himself anytime he commit a sin until he finally and completely repents to ALLAH. (3)One is more upset and unhappy if he misses his daily recitation of the Quran and dhikr, than if he had lost all his wealth. (4)One finds greater pleasure in worshipping ALLAH than any pleasure in eating and drinking. (5) One's worries and concerns about this world leave him whenever he begins his formal prayers. (6)One's only concern and worries are about ALLAH and doing deeds only for His sake. (7)One is more concerned and stingy about wasting time than a greedy person is with respect to his wealth. (8) One is more concerned about the correctness of his deeds than with the performance of the deeds themselves. --------------- Whosoever desires to purify his Heart, then let him prefer ALLAH to his desires.------
The sound heart-
The Sound heart.
This is the pure heart. It is the only type of heart that a person can bring to ALLAH on the Day of Judgment which will rescue him. Allah the Exalted said:
On the day none will benefit from wealth or children, but only him who comes to Allah with a pure heart.

Surat Ash-Shu’ara (26:88-89)
The meaning of “pure” (saleem) is one who is secure. It has come in this form because it depicts an innate attribute. As such it is grammatically like the words tall, short, and graceful.
The one whose heart is described as pure is characterized so because this is attribute of truthfulness and soundness has become its constant and established quality. In this respect it is like the terms “one who knows” (‘aleem) and “one who has power” (qadeer). It is also the opposite of diseased, sick, and ailing.
People have described the sound and truthful heart in different ways. However, they all revolve around the same basic concept: it is that which is secure from every carnal desire that opposes the commands and prohibitions of Allah. It is secure from every doubt and uncertainty that would obscure or oppose His words. It is secure from displaying servitude to anything other than Him, just as it is secure from seeking a ruling from anyone other than His Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam), It becomes sound through loving Allah and seeking the ruling of His Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam). It becomes sound through showing Him fear, hope, trust and reliance, repentance, and humility. It prefers what pleases Him in every circumstance and distances itself from everything that would displease Him in any possible way. This is the reality of servitude which can only be directed to Allah alone. ('Ubudiyyah) The people who fall under this 'Ubudiyyah are the believers who obey, love, and sincerely follow the din of Allah ta'ala.
Therefore, the truthful and sound heart is that heart which is secure from committing any form of idolatry and instead its servitude is directed only to Allah the Exalted and purely for His sake. Its desire, love, trust and reliance, repentance, humility, fear, and hope is only for Allah and its actions are purely for His sake. If it loves, it loves for the sake of Allah. If it hates, it hates for the sake of Allah. If it gives, it gives for the sake of Allah. If it withholds, it withholds for the sake of Allah. The effects and blessings of servitude and submission to ALLAH. (1) Sense of honor and esteem. (2) Sense of strength. (3) Sense of dignity. (4) Sense of humility. ------------------- Yet this alone does not suffice until the heart becomes secure from referring and submitting to anyone else besides Rasulallah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) for judgment. Thus, the heart ties a firm bond with him, resolving to follow him and obey him alone in sayings and deeds. These sayings consist of the sayings of the heart, the matters of faith, and the sayings of the tongue which conveys the words of ALLAH and teach the Sunnah of Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam), and also conveys what is in the heart. These actions consist of the actions of the heart, its desire, love, hate, and other related matters, and the actions of the limbs.
As such, the judge for all these matters, the major and minor of them, is that with which Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) came. The heart does not put itself before him in any matter related to belief, saying, or action. Allah the Exalted said:
O you who believe, do not advance ahead Allah and His Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam). Fear Allah, for Allah is hearing and knowing.
Surat Al-Hujurat (49:1)
Meaning, do not speak of a matter until he has spoken of it and do not act until he has commanded regarding it.

Some of the righteous predecessors said, “There is no action, even if it is small, except that two records will be unfurled for it: why and how?” meaning why did you do it and how did you do it? The first question inquires about the cause, onset, and motive of the action. Was it done for some temporary and worldly gain such as attaining the praise of people? Was it done out of fear of the people’s censure? Or was the motivation of this action from the rights of worship, seeking an increase in the love and nearness to Allah the Exalted and drawing close to Him? The essence of this question is this: did you perform this action for the sake of ALLAH or for the sake of personal gains and desires? The second question inquires about following Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) in that action of worship. Was the action you did from those actions which have been legislated upon the tongue of Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam)? Or was it an action that ALLAH did not legislate and that ALLAH is not pleased with?
The first question concerns sincerity and the second concerns following Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam). ALLAH does not accept any action until both of these conditions are met. The method of absolution from the first question is to purify one’s sincerity such that it is for ALLAH alone. The method of absolution from the second question is to actualize the following of Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) and by securing the heart from any intent that would impair its sincerity and any base desire that would impair its following Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam).
This is the reality of the pure heart from which ensues victory and happiness.
"So know that the world - and whatever is above it and below it in the water- will not be corrected except when the actions of its people are all for ALLAH. The actions of the body follow on from the actions and intentions of the heart. So when the actions and intentions of the heart are purely for ALLAH alone, then it is corrected, and likewise the actions of the body will also be correct. However, if the actions and intentions of the heart are for other than ALLAH and His Rasulallah(Sallallahu alayhi wa salam), then it is corrupted, and likewise the actions of the body will be corrupted in proportion to how much the heart is corrupted." And it is said: "Hearts will not be corrected until the ma'rifah (knowledge and realisation) of ALLAH - being in awe of His greatness, loving Him, fearing Him, hoping in Him, relying on and trusting in Him - And if this is not firmly implanted in the Heart, than the faith of that person is very low. This is the reality of Tawheed and the meaning of the saying: Laa ilaaha illallaah (that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah). Thus, hearts will not be corrected until ALLAH is made the ilaah (deity- The only one worthy of worship) to be known, to be loved, to be trusted, to be feared and to have hoped in, and that He along with this becomes the only ilaah (deity) worthy of this, without associating any partner to Him in this."-Indeed, And so we may begin to appreciate the Greatness of Allaah - the Most High's - and being in owe of Him, by considering some narrations regarding what He - the Most High - has created.
Rasulallah(sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:
"Indeed I see what you do not see and hear what you do not hear. Heaven has groaned, and it has a right to do so. By Him in Whose Hand is my soul! There is not in the heaven a space equivalent to four fingers, except than an angel has prostrated his forehead to ALLAH in it. By ALLAH! If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep a lot, and you would not take delight in women in their beds, but rather would go to the wilderness and implore ALLAH for help. He (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: "The seven Heavens compared to the Kursi (the Chair) is like a ring which is thrown into a desert. And such is the magnitude of the 'Arsh (the Throne of Allaah) compared with the Kursi.

He (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) also said: "I have been given permission to relate to you about the Angels of Allaah - the Most High - that carry the 'Arsh (Throne). Between one of the Angel's ear and shoulder is a distance of seven hundred year journey."
And He (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) also said: "Al-Baytul-Mamoor is in the seventh heaven [directly above the Ka 'bah]. Each day seventy thousand angels enter it, and they will not return until the Day of Resurrection. So: "The need of the servants for this (type of) knowledge is greeter then every other need; end it is the most necessary of all things for them, since there is no life for the Hearts, nor any delight, nor any tranquility, except through knowing their Rabb, the only One Who deserves to be worshipped, their Creator - with His Homes, His Attributes and His Actions, and that He - along with all that - is more beloved to the believing Muslim than anything else. So man's striving is with regards to everything that will draw him nearer to ALLAH, to the exclusion of the creation ... So the people who know ALLAH the best, are the ones who best follow the way to Him; and know best what lies at the end of that way(Path).
