Seduced by logic
I’ve often stumbled
along the narrow alleys
of conventional sanity.

For reasons that
reason doesn’t comprehend*
I am no longer cowed
by what I don’t understand

Content now to let life run its course
I tiptoe around complex human ugliness
awaiting the next turn
over which I have no control
