We the Able

Enrich ourselves
with bailouts and tax cuts
prescribing austerity
for those unlike us

We have enormous resentment
for those born without talent
or with any other debilitating defect
making them unworthy of any respect

We institutionalize hatred
against welfare and compassion
or anything that promotes
a more equitable distribution
