What’s Next?
As fate turns on its side,
I know not what hurt it has in store for me.
I pray that in its wake,
the facade of gentle dignity,
that took years to cultivate
is not torn to shreds.
Leaving me alone,
twitching, forlorn.
Dying to find out what comes after death.
