When death comes to you
When your star-light fades
When you are neither here or there
And there's a dimness in your gaze

When those around you have accepted
That this is the end
When you have finally accepted
To leave family and friends

When the soul is slowly taken
And you move towards that sleep
The soul is pulled up through the body
[Never a soul does a body keep]

And reaches your throat
And the final moment has come
...Picture this, and ask yourself
Is your work done?
