Worshiping Faith

Blessings of faith
have kept my sanity in place.
Divine, immutable guidance
to live a life of piety and balance

On occasion when I stray
succumbing to inherent weakness
I can always pray
and seek His forgiveness

I worship the Creator
and not the faith
to tone down the zeal
whenever I kneel

Me or my religion
are not His sole creation
Realizing this inference
is the essence of tolerance.
