Yes, they can!

Executioner, Judge and Jury.
Who needs all three?
Infidels and demented believers,
revel in the role of remote terminators.

One targets innocents, to embarrass the regents.
Innocents trapped in the path of other, fail to make him shudder.
He shrugs, says sorry with a wink and a nudge.
Surely it is safer not to begrudge!

Whether it is deliberate or collateral,
being blown to smithereens is certainly fatal.
Victims may feel intense pain for a moment in time.
Surviving kin’s sorrow and lust for revenge, lasts a lifetime.

No weapon have they spared, save one.
Giant strides in ruthless execution.
Why is this so? We ask.
How can they get away with this terrible task?

The answer is: Yes, they can!
There isn’t a deterrent to their plan.
With widespread public apathy,
their job is all the more easy!
