she was there to witness the oppression
to speak on behalf of the palestinians
in the delicate land of brutal occupation
she stood in front of the mighty tank,to prevent him from demolition

bravely standing, unaware of the consequences
the world witnessed her lion heart
from the non-muslim sister
while the oil rich coward muslims are tucked in,competing in mega skyscrapers

she cried for him to stop
showed no mercy even the tank was on top
driving over the innocent young lady
till her bones was crushed to small pieces

like a worthless creature
while politician uselessly debate in geneva
the world watched in silence
no justice, no retaliation

may her soul rest in peace
to this beautiful lady, who could have had a life in ease
stood up for rights, tried to help those in need
