the muathen calls as you lay in bed

you lay warm and comfortable, protected from the darkness of the night.
ASHADU AN LAILAHA ILLALLAH
ASHADU AN LAILAHA ILLALLAH
allah has created you and looked after you
allah has blessed you with comfort, warmth and security
allah has given you more then you can ask for
you know this yet you lay in bed.
ASHADU ANA MUHAMMADEN ABDUHO WAH RASULLIAH

you hear the call again and again as the muathens voice spreads through the town
you hear the call for the time of prayer
you hear the call yet you lay in bed

your beloved imam was struck in the time of this prayer
do you think ,do you consider the importance of this prayer

the time of prayer is upon you
the time for you to stand in obedience in front of your lord has come
the time for you to submit to Allah is now
you think about this yet you lay in bed

the time of closeness with Allah has approuched
your oppertunity to communicate with your lord is here
your chance to complain and repent to your lord has arrived
your means to connect and thank your lord for everything is through this salah

the time for the best of deeds is upon you
in this time allahs mercy is adundent
the doors of forgivness are open
yet you still lay in bed

the all knowing
the all seeing
the ever living that never dies
Allah your lord that never sleeps

your lord the one and only has given you the blessing of prayer
will you take it ?
