the LoVE i Need

As each passing moment gone
Remorse fills my heart
The emptiness so strong
Where do I start?

Love one is around
A memory so fond
The joy, laughter and smile they filled
But yet I feel empty still

I yearn for something beyond
The present reality not bygones
The search was long
The fear – the many wrongs

Many a time mistake was done
Sheer repentance I shunned
The mountains of guilt
I kept, stored and built

Oh Allah, I need you
In this time to get me through
The emptiness I hope to fill
In sholat, I wish not to steal

I fumbled through and through
And I am ashamed to face YOU
The many hours I spend
Without answering what YOU have sent

The waves of life I ride
Without considering wrong or right
Oh Allah, please save me from drowning
From my very own wrong doings

My short life remaining
I wish not to stay in sins
I pray for your blessing
Accept my repentance for the many life scenes

There is a thing in life, which will only strive
And with sincerity, it ultimately drives
Oh Allah, that is your love indeed
That is the Love I need*

The Ultimate love of The Creator
Nothing is much greater
Oh Allah please accept the repentance
– a sincere simple penance from all your humble servants
