They embraced, they rejoiced
for their path crossed once more,
A bond that dwindled with age of time
once again blossomed and shone.
Sisterly love so special and true
love for the sake of Allah they knew
no color nor class could come between
they surpassed the tide and pulled through.
sisters in darkness, sisters in light
still standing strong who would've guessed?
A great fortune beyond compare
a remarkable journey in life's unwinding road.
Ah! Could we all love in such a way
for the sake of our Lord seeking His Grace
to love for His sake to hate for His sake
differences put aside, all barriers would brake.
we're mighty hand in hand they can't tear us apart
no culture, nor class, no difference of race!!!
