Ya ALLAH! You have promise and Your promise is the truth,Ya ALLAH! You have promise and Your words is the truth, Ya ALLAH! You have promise and You are the Truth! 4 kinds of Muslims(part1)-------THE TRUE MUSLIMS!------------ Their believe in Allah (SWT) and this concept is the truthful Islamic teachings and practices. They are the people of Monotheism and people of Ihsan. They focus their attention on Allah’s (SWT) Being existent on its own. They accept all the things in the world to be appropriate on their places and consider distinction in their ranks in behavioral interactions as compulsory. They keep the facts of the things in mind and deal with them as they are. They understand the difference between the Divinity of Allah’s (SWT) Unity and their servant-hood. They visualize what Allah (SWT) has description in the Hadith of Ihsan. Servant-hood is their crown. They lead their lives in simplicity, away from materialistic desires.
Among true Muslims, real are the people of Ihsan are more pious and knowledgeable but hide their good deeds from people. They help in purification of the Heart, minds and soul of the people (tazkia nafs), And also correct people’s notions, educate them in inner values and significance of Islam and draw people’s attention towards Divine signs and secrets in the creation.
They follow Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) foot steps in propagation of Islamic teachings and purification of people’s minds. Allah (SWT) has described them as His friends.
It is very difficult to identify them among masses. If we find them, we should try to associate with them and learn Islamic teachings and practices in their company.
It is in Quran – ‘ O’ you who believe, Be afraid of Allah (SWT) and be with those who are truthful (Muslims) (At-Tauba – 119).
It is in Quran - And whosoever obeys Allah (SWT) and Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam), then they will be in the company of those on whom Allah (SWT) has bestowed His Grace; like Anbiya(alaihis salam), the Siddiqun ( like Abu Bakr Siddique -RU ), the martyrs, and the righteous. And how excellent these companions are.’ (An-Nisa – 69).
The true Muslims respect their parents (Rabbiyan-e-Saghira) as per Allah (SWT) commandments. They believe that the ranks of their Muslim parents is greater than themselves in the eyes of Allah (SWT) which demands their attention and service towards them particularly when they are old.
They give respect to their teachers. They never mention the word ‘equality’ with their teachers. They think that what they are today is the result and efforts of their parents and teachers.
True Muslims also respect prominent the early scholars of Ihsan, As-hab-e-Rasulullah and Anbiya(alaihis salam). Because of their high status given to them by Allah (SWT), true Muslims look at them as their heroes and role models.
It is in Quran - ‘Behold the friends of Allah –SWT! On them shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve. These are they, who have believed in Allah –SWT and are mindful of Him (the feeling of closeness of Allah –SWT) and (have consequently abstained from everything evil). To them tidings come (from Allah-SWT) of a happy life both in this world and in Hereafter. The Word of Allah –SWT is never revoked. This in itself is a great felicity’ (Younus – 62- 64). Mohammad Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) is highest ranking among Anbiya(alaihis salam). This means, after Allah (SWT), the respect of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) is highest in the creation.
The Holy Quran is full of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) praise. We are commanded not to call him by name, as we do to each other. We are commanded to obey his orders without asking questions. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam)word is treated as word of Allah (SWT) and his obedience is treated as obedience to Allah (SWT).
It is in Quran – ‘Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) does not say anything with his self desire, except that this is the revelation which is coming to him (from Allah –SWT)’. (An-Najm – 2).
The true Muslims never compare common people with Anbiya(alaihis salam), particularly with the Nabi (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) of Islam. They never compare themselves with As-hab-e-Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wa salam) and with legendary early scholar of Ihsan. They always seek Allah’s (SWT) forgiveness for their known and unknown shortcomings. A little time spent on reading information about Islam will, insha-Allah, help us to correct our Islamic faith and ensure salvation on the Day of Judgment. These are the Muslim People of Ilm (knowledge) and Iman (faith). -----------------
Faith is what we have described in the foregoing discussion as "Knowledge and belief '. The Arabic word Iman, which we have rendered in English as faith, literally means 'to know', 'to believe', and 'to be convinced beyond the least shadow of doubt ', .Faith, thus ,is firm belief arising out of knowledge and conviction. And the man who knows and reposes unshakable belief in the unity of ALLAH ,in His attributes ,in His Law and the Revealed Guidance, and in the Divine Code of Reward and punishment is called Mom'min (faithful). This faith invariably leads man to a life of obedience and submission to the will of ALLAH .And one who lives this life of submission is known as a faithful Muslim. This should clearly bring home the fact that with out Knowledge and faith (Iman) no man can be a true Muslim. It is the indispensable essential; rather, the very starting point, without which no beginning can be made .The relation of Islam to Iman is the same as of a tree to its seed. As a tree cannot sprout forth without its seed, in the same way it is not possible for a man who has no belief to start with, to become a Muslim .On the other hand, just as it can be happen that, in spite of sowing the seed, the tree may not grow for a multiple of reasons, or if it sprouts, its growth may be impaired or retarded, in the same way, a man may have Knowledge, but due a number of weakness, he may not become a true and faithful Muslim. Thus we find the faiths point an leads to the matot of life submission to ALLAH, and that a man cannot become a Muslim without Knowledge and faith. On the other hand, it is possible that man may have faith but, because of the weakness of his will-power, poor training, or bad company, he may not be living the life of a true Muslim. As such, from the viewpoint of Islam and Iman, all men may be classified into four categories :
(1)Those who have firm faith -a faith that makes them absolutely and whole-heartedly submit to ALLAH .They follow the way of ALLAH and devote themselves heart and soul to seek His pleasure by doing all that He likes and by avoiding all that He dislikes .In there devotion they are even more fervent than is the common man in pursuit of wealth and glory. Such men are true Muslims. (2)Those who do have faith ,who believe in ALLAH, His Law and the Day of Judgment, whose is not deep and strong enough to make them totally submit to ALLAH. They are far below the rank of true Muslims deserve punishment for their defaultations and misdeeds, but till they are Muslims. They are defaulters and wrongdoers but not rebels. They acknowledge the Sovereign and His Law and, although they are violating the Law, they are guilty and deserve punishment, but Muslims they remain. (3)Those who do not possess faith at all. These people refuse to They acknowledge the Sovereignty of ALLAH and are rebels. Even if their conduct is not bad if they are not spreading corruption and violence, they remain rebels and their apparent good deeds are of little value. Such men are like the outlaws. And as, even if any action of an loyal and obedient citizen, in the same way the apparent good of those who revolt against ALLAH cannot compensate for the gravity of the real wrong , revolt, and disobedience.
(4)Those who neither possess faith nor do good deeds. They spread disorder in the world and perpetrate all kinds of violence and oppression. They are the worst of the people, for they are rebels as well as wrongdoers and criminals.
The above classification of mankind clearly shows that the real success and salvation of man depends on Iman (faith). The life of obedience (Islam) takes its birth from the seed of Iman and Knowledge. This Islam of a person may be flawless or defective. But without knowledge and Iman there can be no Islam. Where there is no Knowlege and Iman there is no Islam. Where there is no Islam there is a Jahiliyyah(ignorance)and Kufr(disbelief). Its form and nature may be different, but in any way it would be kufr and nothing but Jahiliyyah .
This brings home the importance of Iman vis- a-vis a life of true and total submission to ALLAH.
