A Question for YOU!

A question for YOU!
Thinking of you *
That’s what we are supposed to do!
Not a matter of a day or two
But for our whole lifetime too
Sadly, we only remember you
In just a particular month and that’s true
Oh! Rasulullah (pbuh) what can we do?
Do we deserve your love too?
It has been said in many ways too
Follow the two**
And success will beckon on you
Follow we do but only in cases of few
We take some and others we threw
Just like the Jews***
As most prophets they slewed
And they claimed all they knew
We take the teachings not its entire
Just nicely fitted to suit our desire
And we claim we are safe from the fire
What a joke! A doom satire!
Why are we still fighting?
About the little things
When our enemies are advancing
We are ways behind without realizing
Some hijack Islam for personal glory****
This is the happening – the sad story
When Muslim commoners are caught unaware *****
Coz educations are scarce! Oh Ummah beware
Can we just get along?
And for once be strong
United and bold – This I have been told!
Oh Ummah! When can this be unfold?
We squabble over petty issues
And put Rasulullah s.a.w to shame from the skins to tissues
The companions will definitely cry if they are in our shoes
Fighting, disagreeing, disunite all that too
Think of our future and pride too
Can we please stop this madness for a minute or two?
We should stand united and put aside our differences
Just simply be counted as A Muslim – this is our point of reference
Many a time we have heard this
Still the situation does not ease
Then what can we do?
This is a question I posed to YOU!!! ******

* 1. Hadhrat Anas (radiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Whoever has in him three things, will experience the sweetness of Imaan.” (These are): i) His love for Allah and His Rasool is more than that for all and everything. ii) His love for another (person) is motivated by only the love of Allah. i.e. His love and friendship with people are not for worldly motives. He befriends people because they happen to be pious men of Allah). iii) A man who, after having been saved by Allah from kufr, abhors returning to kufr as much as he abhors falling into a fire.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
2. Hadhrat Anas (radiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “You cannot have total Imaan as long as you do not love me more than your father, children and all people.”(Bukhari, Muslim-Mishkaat)
3. Hadhrat Anas Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) narrates that a villager came to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and said:“O Rasulullah! When will it be Qiyaamah?” Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “What preparations have you made for it?”He replied: “I have no much Salaat nor Saum, but I have love for Allah and His Rasool.” Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:“On the Day of Qiyaamah every person will be with the one whom he loved.”This meant that on the Day of Qiyaamah those who had loved Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) will be with him. Along with this great fortune, they will be in close proximity to Allah Ta’ala. Hadhrat Anas (radiallahu anhu) then commented:“After having heard this good news, Muslims became exceedingly happy. After having embraced Islam nothing else (besides their embracing) made them as happy (as this statement of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).” (Bukhari, Muslim)
** Rasulullah (saw) said “I have left among you two matters by holding fast to which, you shall never be misguided: the Book of God and the Sunna of His Prophet.”
*** Abu Sayeed reported that the messenger of Allah said: "You shall follow the practices of those before you, inch by inch and mile by mile, to the degree that if they enter into the hole of a lizard, you will follow them." He was asked: "O messenger of Allah, are they the Jews and Christians?" He replied: "Who else?" (Agreed)
**** Hadhrat Ali (R.A.) says Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "A time is soon to come when Islam will remain only by name, and the Qur'aan will exist only in words. People will erect large and beautiful Masjids, but these Masjids will lack guidance and be deserted. The worst creation below the skies will be the Ulama-e-Soo’. Great Fitna (evils) will emanate from them and they themselves will promote fitna and they will be the center of Fitna”
***** Thauban reported that the messenger of Allah said: "It is near that the nations will call one another against you just as the eaters call one another to their dishes." Somebody asked: "Is this because we will be few in numbers that day?" He said: "Nay, but that day you shall be numerous, but you will be like the foam of the sea, and Allah will take the fear of you away from your enemies and will place weakness into your hearts." Somebody asked: "What is this weakness?" He said: "The love of the world and the dislike of death." (Abu Daud)
****** The ANSWER for YOU – 'Omar bin al - Khattab reported that the messenger of Allah said: "Troubles will afflict my people in latter days from their rulers. None will escape from them except one who recognises Allah's religion and then fights for it with his tongue, hand and heart, and his reward will already be sure; and one who recognises the religion of Allah and holds on to it; and one who recognises the religion of Allah and keeps quiet about it - if he sees somebody who does good, he loves him, and if he sees somebody who does wrong, he is angry with him, he will be saved for all that he kept secret.
